Sanya Malhotra, a Delhiites moved to Mumbai to fulfil her wish to become an actor. During the promotion of her upcoming film HIT: The First Case starring Rajkummar Rao, Sanya Malhotra threw light on the safety issues women face in India.
Sanya Malhotra Feels Mumbai Is Safer Than Delhi For Women
In an interview with Crime Tak, Sanya Malhotra revealed that although she hails from Delhi, she finds Mumbai to be a safer place for women. Sanya revealed taht she feels safer in Mumbai. She further revealed that while it’s been 7 years since she moved out from Delhi, she doesn’t know if the situation in Delhi has improved or not. The actress went on to add that she can’t even point out the exact reason why she doesn’t feel safe in Delhi.

Says She Has Been Eve Teased In Delhi
The interviewer asked her if she has faced any situation in Delhi that made her feel unsafe. Sanya Malhotra revealed that she has faced many such situations. She went on to add taht she doesn’t think there is a single woman in Delhi who hasn’t faced eve teasing. Rajkummar Rao added that such situations can disturb a person a lot.
