Saudi Arabia: Riyadh Air Opens Bookings For Dubai From This Date In June!

Riyadh Air is a new airline from Saudi Arabia. And it has now been announced that the airline has opened ticket sales for daily flights between Riyadh and Dubai. This would give UAE passengers a direct option to the Saudi capital from June 18th.

The new service, as revealed in a report of the Gulf News, will be operated between Dubai International Airport and King Khalid International Airport. It will be operated by Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners. As a result, it marks another step towards the expansion of the regional network of the airline. It should be noted that the flights that are arriving from Dubai to Riyadh will operate as RX0244. They would depart from Dubai at 6:30 PM and arrive in Riyadh at 7:20 PM local Time. The Riyadh-Dubai service will be called RX0243, and it will depart from the Saudi capital at 2:05 PM and arrive in Dubai at 5 PM.

Strengthening daily service between the UAE and Saudi Arabia, the development comes at a time when regional carriers are expanding short-haul routes. Riyadh Air mentioned how this route supports demand for both business and leisure travel between the two nations. Moreover, passengers from Dubai also get access to onward connections through Riyadh. Yes, these would be to cities like London, Manchester, and other upcoming routes that are across Asia.

The Route Is To Be Operated By Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners

Riyadh Air will be operating the Dubai route with the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners as mentioned above. It will be fitted with four cabin classes, including Business Elite, Business, Premium Economy, and Economy. The Business Elite and Business will feature fully flat-bed seats, which would be in a 1-2-1 layout. The Premium Economy will use a 2-3-2 layout, and the economy will offer a 3-3-3 layout.
