Severe Heat Wave To Grip Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan With 45+ Degree Temperatures

The weather in India’s northwestern states has remained a lot warm and dry for some days unlike the weather of various parts of western, eastern and southern India which are facing direct or indirect effects because of the Asani cyclone. However, it is predicted that the weather conditions might become more intense with heatwaves all over the region from 12th May.

Heatwaves To Prevail Between 12th May To 15th May

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh, South Punjab and South Haryana will be affected by heatwaves between 12-15 May. Eastern Rajasthan will be affected by heatwaves between May 11-15 May while the western Rajasthan will be affected by severe heatwaves between 12-14 May. They have also predicted the temperatures in Rajasthan to soar up to 45 degrees celsius in the same period.
