What Is It?
Shahi Mughal may not look like much on the outside but take a seat & wait for your plate of Butter Chicken (AED 18) which is rich & creamy, much unlike your regular butter chicken. Try their Pakistani specials like the Peshawari Mutton Kadai (Single AED 21) & you’ll be taken into a whole new world of delicious spices. There is nothing complicated about this place but the food is finger licking good and amazingly budget-friendly. It is often crowded on weekends at 4 am as partygoers head down for a satisfying after party meal.

Some of their best-sellers are Peshawari specials. A plate of Peshawari Chicken Kadai will set you back AED 19 & Peshawari Keema – AED 16. A plate of boneless Chicken Tikka is AED 19 which is quite filling and hits the right spots. They also serve mixed grills, kebabs & a delicacy called Katakat (AED 23) which is made from offal, including brain, kidney, heart, liver, and lamb chops in butter.
