Witnessing bazaars and night markets during the holy month of Ramadan is no big deal. So what makes this different? This free-to-enter bazaar has its set up in the outdoor area of the House of Wisdom, Sharjah’s popular library. Starting 2nd April, this Bazaar is here to offer cultural programmes, a wide range of shopping experiences and a lot of F&B options to savour.

Anticipate retail booths & cafes placed at the bazaar. Every purchase made at the bazaar will contribute certain parts as a donation to Kalimat Foundation’s ‘Adopt a Library’ initiative. Even the House of Wisdom’s membership will donate to this initiative.

The initiative has a pious aim to enrich the lives of children from the Arab land by providing access to books to everyone. Sharjah’s non-profit global organization runs this initiative.

Visitors would be introduced to the cultural traditions of Ramadan. Children can immerse themselves in edutainment activities and workshops arranged at the event. The workshop includes lantern-making, pottery and baking. ‘Little Readers’ is a segment where children can enjoy workshops at discounted rates.

To instil more values of Ramadan in children, House of Wisdom has curated a Ramadaniyat Kit that offers an activity calendar. It takes its inspiration from the works of Hala Mohamed Al Turk.

Ramadaniyat also honours UAE businesspeople connected to the Sharjah Business Women Council (SBWC) and Sharjah Entrepreneurship Centre (Sheraa), whose members will be highlighted at the market.

We believe apart from the panoramic background, this event is going to offer quite relevant inputs into Ramadan. Also, how can we miss out on the fun we can have shopping & relishing scrumptious treats here?
