1. Dubai RTA Reveals 6.7 M Riders Used Public Transport During Eid Holiday

Dubai RTA recently revealed that 6.7 million riders used public transport during the Eid al-Adha holiday. The holiday, which was from June 15-18, included 2.5 million users just in the Dubai Metro. The Dubai Tram saw 101 K riders, buses saw 1.4 million riders, taxi was ridden by 2 million riders, 280 K riders used marine transport, and 350 K riders used shared mobility.
2. HH Sheikh Hamdan Attends 2024 Dubai Majlis

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, recently revealed that he attended the 2024 Dubai Majlis. The event was hosted by the Department of Economy and Tourism and Dubai Chambers at Qasr Al Bahar. The event brought together over 200 government, business leaders, and entrepreneurs! It’s worth mentioning that Dubai continues to make rapid progress towards achieving its ambitious goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Ruler of Dubai, and the Vice President of the UAE.

3. Etihad Airways Begins Flights To Jaipur, India

Etihad Airways revealed that it has expanded its network by adding another Indian city to its network. Yes, a new route to Jaipur will be flown by the airlines from Abu Dhabi four times in a week. It’s worth mentioning that this is the 11th destination of the airlines in the country.
4. Abu Dhabi Sports Council Extends Partnership With European Tour

The Abu Dhabi Sports Council has extended its partnership with the European Tour. This has been done to include the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship in the DP World Tour calendar till 2028. It’s worth mentioning that this tournament will be happening from November 7-10 at Yas Links Abu Dhabi. As it happens, it will feature some of the leading players in the world, making it an event worth attending
5. Sheikh Zayed Falcon Release Programm Releases 63 Falcons

63 falcons were released by the Sheikh Zayed Falcon Release Programme. Yes, released into the wild of Kazakhstan, this was supervised by the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi. It’s worth mentioning that the program has released 2,274 Falcons since 1995, which is a part of its ongoing efforts to preserve and protect wildlife. The latest outcomes include 38 peregrine falcons and 25 saker falcons, which have been returned to the wild.
