In Noida and Greater Noida, restaurants and hospitals are leading the charge by providing discounts and free services to voters. Under the umbrella of the “Democracy Discount” initiative, restaurants are offering up to a 20 per cent discount on bills for customers who show proof of voting on April 26 and 27. This innovative approach, supported by the National Restaurants Association of India (NRAI), aims to incentivise citizens to exercise their right to vote while enjoying a meal at their favourite eateries.

In Noida, a bustling hub within the Gautam Buddh Nagar constituency, restaurants such as Desi Vibes, Kaffiiaa, and Imperfecto are among the establishments extending discounts to voters. The idea behind this initiative is not only to boost voter turnout but also to create a sense of civic responsibility within the community.

According to NDTV reports, one notable participant in this initiative is actor-businesswoman Sunny Leone’s restaurant, Chica Loca. Through this campaign, establishments like Chica Loca aim to serve as social hubs where ideas and ideologies converge.
