What Is It?
After years of work, the South Mumbai to Navi Mumbai ferry might be a reality by end of 2018. The Maharashtra Maritime Board and CIDCO are working together to make this project possible which will take you from Gateway Of India to Belapur reducing the travel time along with putting you at ease without any traffic congestion! This will be a great service to launch since the Navi Mumbai airport will be launching soon as well, and given the distance of SoBo to Navi Mumbai via the sea route, this service was much needed.

What Do We Know?
The South Mumbai to Navi Mumbai ferry will be carrying a maximum of 50 people initially, but based on the demand and frequency of the trips, the number of seats will be expanded. The ticket prices will be economical for all, and there will be an option for monthly pass as well. The ferry will be air-conditioned and will take nearly 20 minutes from Gateway Of India to Belapur.
