Prime Video’s ‘Dahaad’ co-stars, Sonakshi Sinha and Vijay Varma made their way to this episode of Sunday Brunch with our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani. The conversations were largely based on food, diets, their film journey and more. This Is How Sonakshi Sinha Got Her First Break

While enjoying a great chaat spread of dahi puri and more, we talked about Sonakshi’s first paycheck. She shared an interesting story about how Salman Khan and Arbaaz Khan discovered her for a Bollywood debut. It was at her first job, Lakme Fashion Week, where she ushered people, including celebrities, to their seats.

She was a lucky one because the Khan brothers were in the audience and that’s when they spotted her. She told us that during a short conversation with them, they expressed their desire to cast her in one of their upcoming films. At that point in her life, she never truly imagined being in this glamorous industry. Hence, she never really considered this offer.

After a year or so, she worked on herself and became fit. It was then Salman and Arbaaz offered her a debut in Bollywood with Dabangg. It was an instant hit among the masses! So much so that they made a trilogy of Dabangg.

She Isn’t A Picky Eater

She told us that she loves to indulge in all kinds of food and doesn’t shy away from eating. She is truly a foodie and is at this stage where she will choose healthy food options over junk food.

She told us that her healthy food is home-cooked meals and it is perfectly balanced. At the end of the day, she doesn’t avoid rice (carbs) and believes that eating the food you love is crucial rather than following a strict diet plan.
