As the buzz around Ayodhya grows, it’s only a matter of time before this religious city becomes the new tourist hub of Uttar Pradesh. So much so, more than two million devotees are expected to reach this spiritual city after the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony on 22nd January. And these numbers are just from January till February. So, to help make transportation easier, GreenCell Mobility has decided to deploy 150 intra-city electric buses to Ayodhya. These e-buses in Ayodhya will not just help ease travel but also avoid over 600 tonnes of tailpipe emissions per month on this journey.
E-Buses In Ayodhya For Convenient Travel & Safer Environment
The Director of Urban Transport has chosen GreenCell Mobility to provide a fleet of 150 e-buses for intra-city travel to Ayodhya. GreenCell Mobility is a popular name in the electric mobility solutions industry. These e-buses will improve intra-city connectivity and ease the travel for over 2 million tourists that are expected in Ayodhya from mid-January to February end.
The GreenCell Mobility buses were launched in Ayodhya by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on January 14. One of its biggest plus points is that these electric buses will reduce the carbon footprint on this route. So much so that it is expected to avoid about 600 tonnes of tailpipe emissions per month. Additionally, the company has deployed over 700 buses in Uttar Pradesh. This has helped save over 22,000 tonnes of tailpipe emissions annually.

500 Electric 3-Wheelers To Be Deployed In UP, Special Focus On Ayodhya
Not just buses, but electric three-wheeled vehicles will also be launched in Ayodhya to ease travel and help the environment. ETO Motors is all set to deploy 500 electric three-wheelers in Uttar Pradesh soon. However, their special focus will be on Ayodhya. As per the Letter of Award issued by the Uttar Pradesh government, the company will deploy and manage electric vehicles in several cities of the state. These cities include Lucknow, Ayodhya, Varanasi, Agra, Prayagraj, Gorakhpur, and Mathura.
Well, this is surely a great way to increase connectivity and boost tourism without hampering the environment!
