SpiceJet Flight From Delhi Makes Emergency Landing In Pakistan

Due to a technical glitch, a Dubai-bound SpiceJet flight had to make an emergency landing in Pakistan, shortly after taking off from Delhi. The SpiceJet SG-11 flight had made the emergency landing at Karachi in Pakistan owing to an indicator light malfunctioning, as reported by ANI. SpiceJet spokesperson has confirmed that all the passengers have landed safely in Karachi. They were also provided with refreshments. The airline has arranged a replacement flight too to fly the passengers to Dubai.

The Passengers Of The SpiceJet Flight Landed Safely In Pakistan

According to a tweet by ANI, the flight crew had observed a dip in the fuel quantity from the left tank. As the fuel quantity kept getting exhausted, the aircraft was diverted to Karachi for the emergency landing. No leak was found in the left main tank after inspection. Over 150 passengers were flying on the Dubai found SpiceJet flight that made the emergency landing. The passengers landed safely in Karachi. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has ordered an investigation into the incident.

6th SpiceJet Issue Reported Since May!

Just three days back, only July 2, 2022, a Jabalpur-bound SpiceJet flight had to return to Delhi airport as smoke started erupting inside the flight. SpiceJet flights have been facing several issues over the last two months. This was the 6th flight issue of the airline reported since May. A Patna-Delhi SpiceJet fight had faced an engine shutdown on June 19 after being hit by a bird. On the same day, a Delhi-Jabalpur flight had to make an emergency landing due to inadequate cabin pressure build-up. Several people were injured on a Durgapur-bound SpiceJet flight on May 4 due to tremendous turbulence in the flight before landing.
