Life is full of whimsical surprises. Every so often, you encounter something that shows that the universe has a good sense of humour. One such incident happened to someone who was recently travelling in Nashik. They encountered something that tickled their fancy. Hoardings of Vipassana Meditation Centre and Sula Vineyards! Talk about juxtaposition! Needless to say, Netizens had a field day cracking jokes and poking fun at the two signs! Scroll on to see their reactions!

As polarising as the platform is, X (formerly known as Twitter), is also, at times, very funny. It is a goldmine of memes and jokes. Recently a user named Rajiv Mehta shared an image of two hoardings in Nashik standing side by side.

The hoardings were of Vipassana Meditation Centre and Sula Vineyards respectively. This tickled Netizens’ fancies as these two things could not be farther from each other. While having wine is associated with partying and everything that is materialistic, meditation is the exact opposite.

People go to Vipassana to disconnect from the materialistic world and to enhance their spiritual health. Whereas others go to a vineyard to celebrate good times. What made the hoarding funnier was the directions in which they were pointing – left for Vipassana, right for the vineyard.

This Is How The Netizens Reacted To The Hoardings

Many people took to the comment section to appreciate this comical scenario. One commenter asked whether one should pick spirit, as in alcohol, or spirituality. Another commenter said, “Left for divine and right for wine” making a hilarious rhyme.

Yet another commenter said “Left is right and right is not right,” equivocating on the two meanings of the word ‘right.’ Many even suggested contingency plans to deal with the two choices. One said that they should first go right and then left so that they get the best of both worlds.
