There’s A Dhurandhar Bar At Srinagar Army Mess, & Even Rakesh Bedi Approves!

Some movies are not just watched once and forgotten. They leave a lasting impact on people. One such film is Dhurandhar. Its popularity has now reached an Army mess in Srinagar, where actor Rakesh Bedi recently gave a glimpse of a special Dhurandhar-themed bar. Read on to know more!

Actor Rakesh Bedi, who played the role of Jameel Jamali, gave a sneak peek of the Dhurandhar-themed bar in Srinagar. The bar is located inside an Army mess. The actor, who played the iconic character in the film, visited the place and inaugurated the bar. Sharing the video, he revealed that the Army mess had not opened the Dhurandhar-themed bar because they were waiting for someone associated with the film to inaugurate it.

Coincidentally, the actor happened to be in Srinagar and visited the location to inaugurate the bar. In the video, he said that he felt honoured to do so and added that he could not reveal the exact location due to security reasons.

Inside The Dhurandhar-Themed Bar

After cutting the ribbon, the actor gave fans a short tour of the newly opened bar. The entrance featured a sign that read, “Dhurandhar Bar, Established 2026.” Inside, several parts of the décor paid tribute to the films and their memorable characters.

One wall displayed a poster of actor Gaurav Gera, who played the popular milk soda seller in the films. The poster showed him preparing the drink and included his famous dialogue from the movie. Another poster featured Rakesh Bedi with one of his iconic dialogues, “Baccha hai tu mera… chal aaja tujhe Fanta pilau.”

There was also a poster of Ranveer Singh holding a gun. On the opposite wall, there was another artwork of R. Madhavan, who played India’s National Security Advisor in the film.
