Taking to the X platform, IRCTC shared the necessary details about the trip and the link to book it.

The Shri Ramayan Yatra package by IRCTC will start on December 5, 2025. This 6-day and 5-night trip will begin from Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport by travelling on a Srilankan Airlines flight.
Tourists will explore the magnificence of Colombo, Kandy, and Nuwara Eliya on this vacation. From accommodation to breakfast, lunch, and dinner, basic necessities such as transportation, travel insurance, and flight tickets are included in IRCTC’s Shri Ramayan Yatra package.
How much does the trip cost?
- IRCTC’s Shri Ramayan Yatra package starts at ₹67,000. This price is for each traveller booking triple occupancy.
- The package cost jumps to ₹69,000 for every tourist choosing double occupancy.
- Single occupancy is the most expensive option. Each person needs to pay ₹85,000 to book this.

Here’s All About The Holiday Itinerary
IRCTC shared a detailed itinerary for this devotional holiday. From breathtaking local sights to beautiful temples, the trip includes magnificent destinations across Sri Lanka.
- Day 1 has been kept separate to reach Negombo and stay in this Sri Lankan city.
- On the second day of the vacation, travellers will start exploring this beautiful country. They will visit Munneswaram Munawari Temple and explore Kandy.
- Next day, they will head to Spice Garden, Ramboda waterfall, Hanuman Temple, and Tea Garden en route to Nuwara Eliya.
- Day 4 will be an eventful day with several locations added to the itinerary. According to the pre-planned schedule, they will visit Gayathri Peedam, Seetha Amman Temple, Hakgala Botanical Garden, Divurumpola Temple, and Gregory Lake.
- They will travel to Colombo via Pinnawala on day 5. On this day, they will enjoy the Pinnawala Show and explore the capital city.
- The final day will be spent travelling back to Delhi.
