At 369 feet tall, the Statue of Belief is the tallest statue of Lord Shiva in the world. It is so massive that it can be seen from a distance of 20 km, providing a scenic view to Nathdwara tourists. The statue itself, including its 34-metre-tall base, stands 112 metres tall.
2. A Ten-Year Construction Milestone
The construction of this architectural wonder began in 2012 and took 10 years to finish. More than 750 expert artisans worked for years, putting in hard labour to ensure that every feature of Lord Shiva’s face and features was carved out with precision. The endeavour was conceptualised by Mr. Madan Paliwal, Chairman of Miraj Group, Udaipur, who wanted to construct an imposing icon of belief and spirituality.

3. Engineered for Strength And Longevity

The Statue of Belief is not just a visually pleasing sculpture but also an engineering marvel. To offer longevity for 250 years, the surface has been coated with copper and zinc. It is also designed to withstand 250 km/h wind speeds and Zone IV intensity earthquakes and it is an engineering achievement in a Zone II seismic zone.

The statue is situated in a 32-acre expansive complex, providing more than just its sacred presence. Guests can participate in Nijatma Abhishek at 351 feet, a must-attend spiritual ceremony for the visitors.
