Rovaniemi, situated just a stone’s throw from the Arctic Circle, is a winter wonderland blanketed in pristine snow and surrounded by pine-clad forests. Santa’s Official Post Office is more than just a place where letters are stamped and sent off to the North Pole. It is a whimsical space that embodies the essence of Christmas. The act of sending letters to Santa has become a cherished tradition, uniting people from around the world in a celebration of hope, love, and the joy of giving.

From the outside, the post office exudes the charm of a traditional log cabin, with its sloping roofs adorned with icicles, and twinkling lights that beckon visitors inside. Guests will be invited to roll up their sleeves and spend the day at Santa Claus’ Post Office as full-fledged elves.

Chief Elf and Host Katja will conduct a crash course in ‘elfing’ to guests and will work with her team to sort through letters from children and adults all over the world, comparing them to Santa Claus’ naughty and nice list. Guests will also help the elves stamp the post with the distinctive Arctic Circle postmark before it is delivered to Santa Claus, as well as learn about the day-to-day operations of the Post Office. After responding to their elf responsibilities, guests will be treated to traditional Finnish dinners, a snowmobile activity, a trip to see the northern lights, and – the most Finnish experience of all – a traditional sauna.
