Live With The Locals In This Kath-Kuni Style Homestay Near Manali

Himalayan Brothers Adventure homestay is located in Naggar, a few steps away from the historic Naggar Castle. It lies inside the residential compound of Vrighu and his wife Akansha, who belong to the oldest family in the region. Interestingly, the oldest home in Naggar is also nestled inside this compound. In 1905, Naggar was hit by a devastating earthquake. During that time, this was the only residential home that had survived the tremours along with the Naggar Castle. As these buildings were constructed in Himachali Kath-Kani style. This architectural style is earthquake resistant and it binds wooden logs, stones, doors and windows together without any mortar.
