Succession Star Alan Ruck Rams A Truck Into A Pizzeria In Hollywood; Investigation Underway

Alan Ruck, who stars in the famous TV show Succession as Connor Roy, was recently embroiled in a fiasco when it was revealed that he was behind the wheels of a pickup truck that slammed into a pizzeria near Hollywood Boulevard. Videos of the incident have surfaced on social media and have gone viral. While investigations are still going on, here is everything that is known so far about this particular unfortunate incident.

Recently, a pickup truck ended up causing a multi-car crash before eventually ramming into a pizzeria near the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and La Brea Avenue. It turned out that the famous actor Alan Ruck was behind the wheel of the pickup truck that caused the crash. Videos of the incident have gone viral on social media and investigations are going on.

According to an article recently published by CBS News, security surveillance footage shows the truck first ramming into a car from behind. The impact sent the car crashing into another one that was crossing the intersection. The truck then rammed into another car before eventually crashing into Raffallo’s Pizza, a pizzeria located on 1600 Block of La Brea Avenue.

In another footage shared by ABC7, the actor was seen talking on the phone after the crash. The building that was damaged has now received a yellow tag which indicates the severity of the damage. It is not known how many people were injured exactly but if reports are to go by, at least one person sustained unknown injuries for which medics were called. He was 32 years old.

Investigation Is Still Going On And Not Much Is Known

Details about the incident are still hazy and not much is known. According to the CBS article, the Los Angeles Police Department or LAPD revealed to KCAL that neither drugs nor alcohol were involved in the situation. The exact reason why the pickup truck driven by Ruck went out of control is still unknown. No arrests or citations have been made so far. Many videos showing the aftermath of the crash have gone viral on social media. 

The crash happened around 9:30 PM on October 31, which also happens to be Halloween. Alan Ruck is also known for his role as Cameron Frye in the famous classic movie ‘Ferris Bueller’s Day Off’ which was released in 1986. If you’ve watched the movie, you know that car crashes play a role in the movie as well which makes this incident quite ironic.
