The couple is centred and primarily works in Chennai, but have bought a lavish bungalow in the city of dreams, Mumbai! The National Award winner, Suriya, with his wife Jyothika has not yet confirmed the recent development but we are keen to find out.

The power couple of the South film industry has bought a lavish home in Mumbai worth ₹70 crores! But is it just an investment or are they planning to relocate to Mumbai? Well, Jyothika is supposed to be acting in a Hindi web series. And according to some reports, the couple has allegedly enrolled their kids in a Mumbai school. And to support this claim, there are videos of Suriya and Jyothika circling the Internet of frequently visiting hotels.

This supposed flat is located in an affluent and gated neighbourhood of Mumbai. The same one where Bollywood celebrities and politicians have their residents. It is said to serve as a guest house or holiday home for the couple’s family. But there is no confirmation from either of them about their new place in Mumbai or relocating to the city. Being a superstar in the South film industry, Suriya has always resided in Chennai with his wife, children, parents and siblings.
Jyothika’s Comeback In Acting
The popular actress Jyothika left acting back in 2009. However, she is making a comeback in the industry and has signed up for a Hindi web series as well. While her husband, Suriya, is a producer, actor and philanthropist. His ‘Jai Bhim’ was a super hit and he opened a production company 2D Entertainment. But interestingly, both husband and wife are National Award winners!
Suriya is also set to make his first Hindi film — the remake of Soorarai Pottru, the National Award-winning Tamil hit film. And the lead for the Hindi remake is Akshay Kumar. Many Bollywood celebrities and affluent people have made Mumbai their home. Will Suriya and Jyothika do the same?
