Taj Mahal Night-Viewing Experience To Take Your Breath Away!

Every month for five days, the Taj Mahal welcomes visitors for a night-viewing experience. It doesn’t happen often, and that’s the beauty of it. The marble mausoleum is open once a month, two nights before the full moon, on the full moon night and then two nights after that. On these 5 days, visitors can enter the Taj Mahal complex from 8:30 pm to 12:30 am. They can spend a memorable 30 minutes inside the stunning complex.

How To Get Tickets?

However, do keep in mind that the night-viewing Taj Mahal experience allows only a restricted number of visitors. Moreover, it requires pre-booking. The tickets will be available one day before the date of the actual night viewing. You can go on the Archaeological Survey of India (A.S.I.) website or visit their office between 10 am to 6 pm to book your tickets. The tickets for the night viewing of the Taj Mahal cost ₹510 for Indian adults, ₹750 for foreigners and ₹500 for children ( both Indian and foreigners) aged between 3 to 15 years.

Also, Indian visitors need to ensure that they have photocopies of their IDs and address proofs. And foreigners must ensure they have a photocopy of their passport with them. The night viewing experience conducted between 8:30 pm to 12:30 am will happen in batches of 8 with 50 people in each batch. Visitors must report to the temple complex half an hour before the viewing time mentioned on their tickets for security checks.
