The President is scheduled to visit the Shimla retreat once a year. Also, the President’s core office will shift to Shimla during the entire stay.

President’s Holiday Retreat In Telangana
Originally constructed in Telangana’s Bolarum, this building has 11 rooms in a single storey. Rashtrapati Nilayam was given to the President’s Secretariat and the building was taken over from Hyderabad’s Nizam. During their stay in this Nilayam building, the President of India conducts official business. Also, the President always visits the Nilayam at least once a year.
