According to an article which was recently published by NDTV, the actor reportedly suffered from chest pains last night. He was subsequently rushed to a private hospital in the Kottivakkam locality of Chennai. He unfortunately succumbed to the cardiac arrest.

The actor was only 48 years old and was loved for his diverse roles in South Indian movies. As per an article recently published by The New Indian Express, the beloved actor will be laid to rest in Purasaiwakkam, which is where he resided.

Many fans took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to express their condolences. The sudden nature of his death is also a factor in people’s shock and grief over his passing.

All About The Life And Career Of This Beloved Tamil Actor

The talented actor started as a Unit Production Manager in Kamal Haasan’s Marudhanayagam. The movie, unfortunately, never made it to the public eye and was unreleased. His first acting role was in a television serial called Chithi.

His character was called Daniel Balaji and he decided to adopt it as his stage name. His actual name is T C Balaji. His first movie was April Maadhathil, which came out in 2002. Since then, he has gone on to portray some of the most iconic roles in the South Indian film industry.
