Yes, Al Ain Book Festival has returned for its 15th edition and it’s an event which is organised by the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre. In fact, this exhibition is already open and it will be going on till November 23. Here is all you need to know about the ongoing exhibition.

Al Ain Book Festival Returns For 15th Edition This November

Offering programmes for people of all ages, the ongoing book festival will be taking place till November 23, 2024. It is organised under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is the Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.

The festival will be happening at the Al Ain Square – Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium and other tourist and cultural locations. Yes, this time the theme is ‘All Eyes On Al Ain’ and the aim is to nurture talent while fostering a deep connection, and creating a generation of avid readers. In fact, Abu Dhabi Media Office, the event recognises pioneers and culture, arts, and knowledge and even celebrates them.

A Rise In The Number Of Participating Publishers

In fact, it’s a heaven for people who love to collect the latest books and publications varying across the fields. Yes, they can do so at the stalls of the participating publishers and it’s certainly going to be much easier as this has seen an 89% increase in the numbers. There is also a Poetry Nights programme happening for the festival, which includes The Sung Poetry programme. It celebrates the legacy of the late Sheikh Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan.

It honours his literature and poetry and the special program will also be dedicated towards highlighting the significance of folk poetry. Moreover, the festival reiterates its commitment towards empowering and supporting youth. It features rich cultural and artistic contributions from a adolescence, young adults, and children as they showcase their skills and talents.
