The First International Flight To Dubai From Bhubaneswar Starts On March 5th

When travelling to India, airports in the cities of Mumbai, New Delhi, Kolkata, Goa, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Bangalore are often at the top of the search results. However, starting this March, there will soon be a new addition to this list. Connecting Dubai to the eastern part of the country, there will now be a new direct flight that will connect the city to India. We are talking about the upcoming Bhubaneswar-Dubai flight, which is slated to begin this year.

For those of you who have been itching to explore the eastern part of the country, you will soon be able to land at the Bhubaneswar airport. With the airport beginning its first international flight operations, Bhubaneswar-Dubai flights will begin on the 5th of March. It is worth noting that the first Bhubaneswar-Dubai flight (no 6E0027) will leave Bhubaneswar at 6:05 pm from the Biju Patnaik International Airport and will reach Dubai airport at 9:45 PM.

As it happens chief minister Naveen Patnaik may also inaugurate a walk-through Museum of Biju Patnaik‘s iconic Dakota Aircraft at the airport premises on the same day. This comes after Odisha Cabinet gave its approval to start direct flights from Bhubaneswar to Dubai, Bangkok, and Singapore in December 2022.
