The Al Damani DMV3000 is the United Arab Emirates’ first electric car, with the first automobiles wheeling off the production line during summer. The ultimate concern regarding electric vehicles is the battery backup and the mileage it would provide. For the matter, this EV will have a top speed of 160 km/h and a range of more than 405 kilometres on a single charge. Furthermore, 25% of the parts are sourced from local marketplaces.

The crew has collaborated with some of the industry’s best, including Aston Martin and General Motors. One of the most significant aspects was getting the battery performance up to par. When the complete new plant opens in 2024, production will increase. The temporary facility has a daily capacity of 8-10 automobiles and a yearly capacity of 10,000 cars. The main factory will be capable of creating 50,000-70,000 cars per year once it’s completed.

A Guide For Your Electric Vehicle Charging Stations In Dubai

Owning an electric car has numerous advantages under Dubai’s Green Mobility Strategy. What are the locations of these charging stations? For your convenience, you can search for the nearby electric charging stations on the website or download the DEWA app. You can also search for the nearby electric charging stations on Google or Apple Maps.

A fee of 29 fils per kWh will apply. Even if an electric car is not specifically registered with DEWA, it is still eligible for charging. But for unregistered vehicles will have to pay different charges compared to the registered vehicles. The prices applicable start from 3.35 AED for 30 mins and go up to 45.68 AED.
