Summer is still upon us and stepping outdoors is not really an option. But, if you’re looking for some indoor fun Dubai has a cool, new venue you will simply love. The Alley in Al Quoz is now home to a unique glow-in-the-dark padel centre, brining in perfect disco vibes to the racquet court. Well, this is something the city has never seen before and is rightly called ‘Dubai’s trendiest experience’. Here’s what you can expect at this cool, new sports venue!

The Alley is nestled in Al Quoz and as of now the place is open on an invite-only basis. Inside the warehouse is a stunning racquet court with glow-in-the-dark tennis balls, racquets, and neon lines defining the court. The space houses three huge padel courts. Each of them is well equipped with a speaker system, so you can connect your phone and play your favourite music and make your padel experience more fun.

For those who don’t know to play the sport, trained coaches will be present at the venue to guide you. Apart from being a mere paddling centre, the venue will also be launching theme nights, padel-fit classes, space to host birthday parties, and live DJ spin on certain nights.

A 90 minute session will cost you AED 440 to AED 660, depending on how long the game is. Also, membership programs are available.

Dubai Has A Golf Course That Lets You Play Golf In The Dark

The  glowing rooms in JBR’s Bahar cluster gives you a feel of what its like to pay golf in places outside of a golf course. The 3D Blacklight Minigolf has neon lighting and 3D effects painted on walls, adding more drama to the game.

From space setting to coral reefs and barren deserts, each room has a different theme, giving the players an experience they will cherish. A round takes about 45 minutes to two hours, depending on the number of players and how fast you play. Guests are given ChromaDepth glasses, which lets you experience a setting like never before, while you try to get a hole-in-one.

Entry is priced at AED 110 for adults, AED 90 for children between 6 to 12 years. Children under the age of 5 can enter for free. The gaming zone is open from 2:00pm to 11:30 pm through the week.
