What Is The Gujarati Food Festival?

The Gujarati Food Festival is a 3-day celebration of everything delicious. Happening at Kora Kendra Ground in Borivali, it’s a 3-day extravaganza that’s open to everyone. If you thought Gujarati food was only about meetha dal, head to Borivali and be pleasantly surprised as these coloured delicacies will completely overtake your senses. Enjoy a unique blend of sweet and spicy flavors and get the right feel of this rich cuisine. The spices, herbs, and tempering used are native to Gujarat to ensure that they are as true-to-taste as possible.

We have to warn you. Make sure you go on an empty stomach because this celebration of food is something you’re not going to want to leave. The exclusive menu of the festival will include varieties of drinks, farsan and ready-to-eat snacks, soups, salads, veg dishes, dals, rice, kadhi, papads, rotis and a spread of desserts that will be a treat for vegetarian food lovers. Please note that this is a VEGETARIAN ONLY festival. Now, i’m a hardcore non-vegetarian too but if there is one cuisine that can convince me to leave my nonveg for one day – it has to be Gujrati cuisine.
