On this fun episode of Tere Gully Mein, our Editor-in-Chief Kamiya drove around the streets of Bandra and went on a food trail with Karishma Tanna. Over the course of the episode, the pair talked, laughed and binged on a spree of delicious dishes. We learned a lot about Karishma Tanna’s journey as an actor, her interests and the places she loves. We learned that although she’s a vegan, she’s also a huge foodie!
These Are Karishma Tanna’s Favourite Places To Eat At
While heading to ‘Eat Around The Corner’ in Bandra, Karishma Tanna talked about food and her love for it. She revealed that she eats everything (that’s vegetarian), from vada pav to pav bhaji and everything in between.
When asked what some of her favourite places to eat are, she shared a couple of stalls and street food places. The first place that she mentioned was pani puri at Ram and Shyam. She mentioned that the stall is located in Khar and that she loves it ardently.
She then mentioned that another place that she visited a lot was in South Bombay. “Babubhai ka dosa,” she said, “Kamiya, my mouth is watering!” She loved the dosa at this place so much, she could hardly express it!

This Is Why She No Longer Consumes Dairy
While speaking about her dietary choices, she revealed that she does not eat dairy products. She said that it has been around two years since she stopped eating dairy products and she plans on keeping things that way.
Karishma said that her love for animals was primarily why she stopped eating dairy in the first place. However, she also cited a number of health benefits stating that avoiding dairy is good for your skin and staying in shape as you don’t get excess fat from dairy.
