Guidelines To Enter These Budget Backpacking International Destinations:
1. Indonesia
The travel guidelines for entering Indonesia are as follows:
- Visitors need to show proof of vaccination to enter Indonesia. The vaccination certificate should contain both the English language and the language of the country of origin.
- The travellers need to take the vaccination dose a minimum of 14 days before the day of travelling.
- After arriving in Indonesia, taking an RT-PCR test is a must.
- If the visitors have taken both the vaccination doses then they need to self-monitor themselves and then follow it with an RT-PCR test on the 3rd day in the country.
- For the travellers who took only one dose of the vaccination, they need to quarantine for 7 days. In between, they also need to undergo an RT-PCR test on the 6th day.
- The visitors with negative reports can come out of the quarantine and explore the country. Meanwhile, they need to self-monitor themselves for 14 days.
- Visitors need to complete an ‘Indonesia health alert card’ (eHAC) and get the generated QR code beforehand. They need to present these on arrival. Visitors have to download the ‘eHAC Indonesia’ application to complete the form.

2. Vietnam
- Vietnam is allowing International travellers from 15th March 2022 only after showing a negative test report taken before boarding the flight.
- Also, the travellers need to take the vaccination doses within the past 6 months for entering the country. Vaccinating 14 days prior to entering is a must.
- When it comes to quarantining, travellers need to quarantine just on the first day.
- The number of days of quarantining increases to 7 days if the travellers are unvaccinated. Unvaccinated visitors are allowed but a quarantine period of a week is mandatory.
- Also, these visitors need to go through an RT-PCR test on the first day and on the 7th day of the trip.
