The nobleman equipped his auto with essentials like an oxygen cylinder, a PPE kit, sanitizer, and an oximeter. As reported by ANI, Javed took the action after he saw visuals of people on social media, WhatsApp groups, and news channels carrying their relatives to hospitals on their shoulders due to the unavailability of an ambulance. He Sold His Wife’s Jewellery To Buy Oxygen Cylinder
As reported by ANI, Javed sold his wife’s necklace for ₹5000 to buy an oxygen cylinder and other essentials. He refuels the auto with his own money. When asked about how he manages to procure oxygen when the world is facing a tremendous shortage, he says that he refills it from a factory in Govindpura. He also mentions that refilling oxygen is a tedious task that requires him to stand in a queue for 4-5 hours. The cost of refilling the oxygen cylinders ranges from ₹450-550.
