From the lovely Lalita in Parineeta to detective Mira Rao in Neeyat, she has come a long way. We chatted about various things and stumbled on the topic of how she met her husband, Siddharth Roy Kapur. We were surprised to find out that it was Karan Johar all along. Karan not only helps to manifest relationships on his Koffee With Karan couch but also likes to play Cupid on the side!
Which Bollywood Celeb Was The Cupid For Vidya Balan-Siddharth Roy Kapur’s Relationship?
We played a fun game where Vidya Balan had to give context behind each picture displayed on the TV. One such was a cute picture of her and Siddharth. Just as the picture appeared, Vidya let out a lovely laugh and Kamiya said, “We would love to know about your love story. How did you meet him?” In response, Vidya happily said, “We’ll need an entire different episode for that!”
Vidya started by informing us that she didn’t know how things went down between them. She had no idea Karan Johar was the matchmaker in their relationship. She told us, “He sort of played Cupid in our relationship. I wasn’t aware.” They both happened to be at the dinner that Karan had invited a bunch of people to. Vidya claimed that Karan had alluded to their potential compatibility and told Siddharth that she would be coming to the dinner as well. Because Karan was aware Siddharth liked Vidya. Now, ten years later, they are happily married. We all need a Cupid like Karan Johar in our lives ASAP!

She Was Mesmerised By This Fascinating Castle
Vidya Balan’s new film Neeyat is a detective mystery. Kamiya was inquisitive about where the film was shot. So she asked questions while they watched the trailer for the film. “The film was shot in London and in Scotland,” Vidya informed us. While speaking about the castle shown in the film, the filmmaker, Anu Menon, magically found a castle that bore a remarkable resemblance to the one that was depicted in the script!
Vidya was sure they had to recreate a castle and not fly to London or Scotland. She then spoke admiringly of the castle, stating that it was on an amazing cliff and the view was stunning. The entire setting of the castle was just picture-perfect for a detective movie like Neeyat
