Sandwiches cost AED 3 and you can buy freshly made samosa, falafel or potato vada for AED 1.
What Is It?
Farisian Cafeteria in Meena Bazaar is known to be one of the oldest & most famous quick-bite shops in Dubai. The cafeteria was started by Mr. Farhad from Iran in 1980 who began selling samosa, falafel & potato vada/tikki and is now being run by his son. We visited this cafe and were surprised to note that the humble offerings of this 38-year-old shop are limited yet because of the freshness and the price, the shop is always busy with regular customers.

The sandwiches cost AED 3 and you can choose from either samosa, potato vada or falafel filling which are then topped with a generous spread of mint chutney & salad. Each samosa, falafel & aloo vada costs AED 1 which is probably the lowest we’ve ever heard of. Everything is made fresh and cooked right in front of customers.
