One restaurant in Colombia came up with an innovative way to attract foodies. Toro McCoy recently launched an exclusive burger named ‘Oro McCoy’ which is plated with a layer of pure 24-karat gold. The restaurant describes its burger as “A brioche burger bathed in 24-karat Gold with double meat, caramelised bacon, and double cheese.”

Gold Burger Costs ₹4330
This luxurious burger costs $59 ( ₹4330). The restaurant’s regular burger costs just $11( ₹807) in comparison. The chef Maria Paula stated to South China Morning Post’ The hamburger is put on it, the hamburger is closed, and then the gold foil goes on.” She also shed light on the importance of preparing this burger and handling the gold foil carefully. She stated to the SCMP that the gold foil gets damaged if it sticks to the chef’s fingers. So it’s crucial to place the gold foil correctly on the burger or it gets damaged.

The Colombian restaurant, Toro McCoy started serving this unique 24-karat gold burger on November 27 to attract foodies. Their promotion video went viral and garnered over 90,000 views. Thousands of netizens were curious about its price and were eager to try out this creation for themselves.
