Blue Poppy Resort is a modern hut in Auli which is just a Santa’s kiss for a weekend getaway in the mini Switerzland of India. They have 24 such wooden huts which were designed and constructed in such a manner that they offer brilliant 180°views of mountain peaks like Hathi, Ghoda, Palki, and Nanda Devi. who said you can’t explore places just from the comfort of your bed? Blue Poppy Resort proved this wrong.
When you visit this resort in Auli you will understand why were we quoting it as Instagram-worthy. You will be filled with DMs as your pictures will not only showcase the thick snow-covered Himalayas but also how tempting it looks. Some of the huts are perched on the hills a little near the edge and from there, you can see all the trees covered in snow and so are the mountains. Imagine witnessing snowfall here, just perfect!

Auli’s Blue Poppy Resort claims that they have maintained sustainability while constructing the huts with just alpine wood like Chid, Deodar, and Raga with very little use of cement. Therefore, the rooms have a distinct wood smell. Auli is a heaven of destination for Ski lovers. It is an ideal place that gets heavy snowfall and skiing and skateboarding are suggested here. Though they do have trekking services, you can avail if you want to trek.

Right as you step out of your hut, your shoes will be deep in snow and if you are mischievous enough you will start a snow fight sneakily. The trick is to make a tight ball of snow and throw it at a higher speed for it to hit with a thump.
