This NRI Chef Runs A Dhaba In Jalandhar!
Harry Uppal, a food blogger, recently shared a video on his YouTube channel that featured a US-born chef who has a dhaba in Jalandhar. The video starts with the blogger speaking with the chef. The chef’s name is Naresh, and he runs a restaurant in Jalandhar called Aggarwal Vaishno Dhaba.
This restaurant offers a wide selection of Punjabi specialities for a very affordable price. Chef Naresh says that he lived in America for more than 35 years before going back to his native India in 2012. Since he acquired the restaurant in 2013, he has been serving his patrons delectable Punjabi cuisine.

Before returning to India, Chef Naresh claimed to have owned ten restaurants in the United States, three of which are still in his control.

Among the specialities of Aggarwal Vaishno Dhaba are dal makhani, Rawalpindi Chole, Kadai Paneer, Chana Masala, Kadhi Pakora, and Malai Kofta. The variety of dal they provide must be prepared in five to six hours, according to Chef Naresh, and they are all prepared under the supervision of a specific employee of the dhaba who has been making the dal for 28 years.
A Punjabi thali with dal makhani, shahi paneer, mixed veggies, pulao, boondi raita, tawa roti, and salad was also enjoyed by the blogger in the dhaba. Other than that, you can enjoy Amritsar Kulcha with Chana for breakfast.
