Mazroui worked at the Central Bank of the UAE for 29 years, before he realized his passion and turned his attention to flower farming full-time. It took seven years of landscape blooming dedication for 50-year-old Mohammed Al Mazroui to grow such a charming farm.

Where Is The Flower Farm Located?

The farm in located in Ras Al Khaimah and guests can enjoy activities including picking flowers and even creating bouquets.  The farm boasts a variety of flowers including blue-violet larkspur, bright yellow dandelions and purple yarrow, a herb that produces clusters of small, delicate flowers. Mazroui told The National that he begins planting from September to October and harvests the flowers by April or May. The blooms are then sent to flower shops in Sharjah and Dubai, which are then sold to Gardners. The farm recently opened to visitors, giving them the option to create their own bouquets and pay directly on site.

The land is left alone during Dubai’s scorching summers. Al Mazroui then travels to his other farm in Bosnia, where he spends two to three months with his family and tends to his flowers there. Most flower farms in the UAE operate under tents and greenhouses. However, Mazroui prefers to do his farming in the open.

When here, you’re in for a pleasant surprise! The farm is a meadow of glorious colour and is nothing short of a visual treat. In short, this place looks straight out of a fairy tale, so get your cameras clicking and spam your gram!

Quick Tip- The Flower Farm is open daily from 7 am until 11 am and then from 2 pm until 6:30 pm. Weekdays are quieter and the golden hours are especially beautiful.
