What’s It?

It’s International Cheese Balls day on 17 April and Trader’s Vic’s in JBR has an ‘unlimited’ offer to celebrate. Foodies who visit the restaurant in the evening can dig into their famous Jalapeño cheeseballs for AED 99 per person. The offer is only for seven hours – from 5:00 pm to 12:00 am, so get there before its all over.

In case you didn’t know, Traders Vic’s is super famous for their cheese balls. Crispy on the outside and filled with oodles of gooey cheddar and Emmental cheese on the inside, the bite-sized delicacy will leave a burst of flavours in your mouth.

What Else?

If seven hours of unlimited cheese balls are not your kind, here’s another option you just cannot turn down. Hum Yum, the quaint Emirati joint makes the best Cheese chips Oman paratha.

The restaurant instantly transports you to a quiet cafe in Europe’s by-lanes. There are carom boards that double up as tables so you can play a fun game while waiting for your food. As for the menu, expect to spot and savour all things Emirati in this cafe. And, it’s particularly known for Cheese chips Oman paratha. Stuffed with chips Oman and topped with a generous serving of cheese, this one’s a must-have when here.

That aside, the restaurant also whips up delicious Khamir-there’s cheese, Nutella, chicken, honey and more. Lastly, you definitely cannot leave their premises without washing down your meal with their Karak saffron chai.
