What’s It?
Happily perched along the La Mer beach, Alice Pizza is the first of its kind in the city, to feed customers slices of gooey pizza by ‘weight’. Surprised? Similar to the concept at YogurtLand in Dubai Mall, Alice serves pizzas according to the scale. According to the Roman tradition, pizza is not to be sold in slices but cut according to the customer’s instructions.
You won’t find the cliche round pizzas here, as the restaurant chops pizzas in slices of squares. Each pizza is priced based on the weight. This means you can eat small slices of different flavors for a true pizza tasting, or a large amount of your favourite flavour. How cool is that! And if you’ve found the perfect pizza, you can go back to the counter and they will bake it all in a jiffy.
The pizzas are drenched in a generous portion of tomato sauce and are then loaded with a range of toppings. The Margherita, Truffle Cream and Mushroom are a safe bet. However, if you are up for some adventure on your plate go for the Potato with Rosemary or Bacon. They also serve a range of spicy cuts including Aubergines cooked in a spicy sauce, and cheese-pepper.
Savored pizzas aside, the restaurant also has a range of sweet selections for those who like to indulge in a sweet-something. The sweet pizzas are topped with Nutella, apple-cinnamon, marshmallows and honey.
What Else?
The prices are affordable too. Pizza slices start from AED 10 and go up to AED 17. So, you can gorge until you’ve got all the cheese into your system!
