1. Konkan Kanya Express

Travelling between Mumbai and Margao, ‘Konkan Kanya Express’ is carrying passengers since 25 January 1998. The journey of this train begins from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus to Madgaon Junction covering a distance of 581 km. This superfast express runs on the tracks daily with 18 stops in 13 hours and 5 minutes.

2. Lokmanyatilak Terminus

Travel from Kurla, Mumbai to Goa covering about 438 km in ‘Lokmanyatilak Terminus’. The train departs at 12:55 am to reach Goa at 12:00 pm on the same day. You can reach there in 11 hours and 5 minutes.

3. Jan Shatabdi Express

Covering the total distance in about 8 hours and 25 minutes, ‘Jan Shatabdi Express’ starts from Dardar Central at 05:25 am to reach Madgaon at 01:50 pm on the same day. If you are looking for a pocket-friendly option to travel to Goa from Mumbai, this train falls under the budget.

4. Mandovi Express

‘Mandovi Express’ departs from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus at 07:10 am to reach Madgaon at around 7 pm. With 18 stations in between, it takes 11 hours and 50 minutes to cover this train journey of 580 km. This train operates every day and runs at an average speed of 50 km/hr.

5. Mumbai CSMT-Karmali Tejas Express

To enjoy the most luxurious train journey between Mumbai and Goa, you have to take a ride on the ‘Mumbai CST-Karmali Tejas Express’. The journey begins from CSMT and it takes around 8 hours to reach Karmali. In fact, it is also the fastest train on this route. You can travel on this train on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. And it runs thrice a week during the rainy season.
