Travelling To US, UK Or Europe? Sky-High Airfares Due To Exorbitant Fuel Prices, Ukraine War

The world has finally opened to international travel after a hiatus of two years. Thanks to the deadly virus. People have started making plans of leaving their homes and fly abroad for vacation this summer. But the high airfares might cause a wave of disappointment amidst the happy excited ones. The Ukraine war is the ultimate reason for the hike in airfare prices.

Jet Fuel Price Hike, Air Fares Rise

After two years, finally, people were excited and planning holidays this summer. But owing to the Ukraine war, prices of jet fuel have raised leading to a hike in airfares. The travel and hospitality industry was about to see the sun after 2 years but the hike has lowered their spirits too. Package Fares Are Too Soaring High

Sales manager at Soman’s Leisure Tours India Pvt Ltd, Mr Ajay told The Hindu in a conversation that they too have hiked their summer holiday package from ₹1.5 lakh to ₹2.10 lakh because of the hike in the airfares.
