At present, travellers are no longer waiting for birthdays, weekends or holidays to plan a trip. Now, even a small win or a bad day can make them pack their bags and leave. How Are Indian Travellers Taking Trips?

Booking.com, in collaboration with YouGov, shared that 58% of Indian travellers took a trip because they simply wanted to. 57% of travellers took two to three leisure trips without any major celebrations. This means spontaneous trips are now becoming a trend!

Some even booked trips to beat post-holiday blues, with 20% choosing travel for this reason. Another 16% booked a getaway because it was payday.

61% booked a trip to celebrate small wins, such as reaching a fitness goal or getting through a difficult work week. Meanwhile, 55% booked a staycation to enjoy hotel comforts like room service and soaking tubs.
