The volcanic eruption is displaying bright red and glowing lava, creating a stunning sight in Sicily. Moneycontrol reported that as per Italy’s National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV), the volcanic activity is taking place at an altitude of around 9,800 feet, which is nearly 3,000 metres above sea level.
