Mount Etna, Europe’s largest and most active volcano, is once again grabbing everyone’s attention. Why? The volcanic eruption is displaying bright red and glowing lava, creating a stunning sight in Sicily. This latest eruption is a reminder of just how powerful Mount Etna is and why people around the world keep a close eye on it. 

Moneycontrol reported that as per Italy’s National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV), the volcanic activity is taking place at an altitude of around 9,800 feet, which is nearly 3,000 metres above sea level. Scientists are monitoring the volcano closely to track any significant changes in its behaviour.

Residents Can Witness Fiery Burst From A Distance

The ongoing lava eruption has created a stunning sight, and residents in nearby areas are able to see its glow. This is not the first time Mount Etna has erupted. In fact, Mount Etna is located on the eastern side of Sicily, Italy and is famous for erupting often. Because of this, scientists from around the world have been studying it for many years.

As per Moneycontrol, while the lava flow from the recent volcanic activity appears intense, authorities have not issued any alerts or warnings. However, they are continuing to monitor the situation closely to ensure that any potential risks to nearby communities or air traffic are identified in time.
