The brand recently launched its first-ever UK restaurant, which attracted massive crowds within days of opening. Haldiram’s UK Outlet Temporarily Shuts Down
Haldiram’s UK restaurant in Leicester Square, which opened just a few weeks ago, has now temporarily shut down. The outlet has paused operations due to scheduled utility upgrade work. Haldiram’s shared the update on its official social media handle, stating that the restaurant has been closed because of scheduled UKPN electrical works. UKPN means UK Power Networks, the company that manages electricity distribution across London and parts of south-east England.
The restaurant also informed customers that it will announce the reopening date as soon as possible. The team also apologised for the inconvenience and mentioned it was important for the safety of staff and customers.

Inside Haldiram’s UK Outlet
The first-ever Haldiram’s UK outlet is located at 19-20 Irving Street, Leicester Square. As per NDTV, this outlet is spread across 3,000 square feet. Also, if you’re visiting you can enjoy both indoor and outdoor atmosphere as the restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating. It can accommodate 120 guests indoors and 20 guests outdoors.
When you visit this restaurant, you can enjoy Indian classics like Chole Bhature, Pav Bhaji, Raj Kachori, and a wide range of Chaat. The outlet also serves special fusion desserts created exclusively for the London location.
