Turkey Records 27,300 Indian Tourists In June; Highest Footfall In A Month

Turkey is a land of great beauty and for a very long time, it has attracted a large number of tourists from India. This June, it was a tad bit different, as Turkey recorded a number of 27,300 Indian tourists. As per reports, this has been the highest footfall in a month. Turkey Tourism stated, that in the pre-covid times, Turkey recorded 23,800 Indian tourists in June 2019. Surely, the number of travellers has surpassed the pre-covid times.

Why Is There A Surge Of Indian Travellers In Turkey?

There are a number of factors which are responsible for seeing an increase in the number of Indian tourists. Firstly, the resumption of frequent flights from India to Turkey by Turkish Airlines as well as IndiGo. Second, issuing visas has become easier. Allowing leisure travel in a city as gorgeous as Turkey is a reason why there has been a significant rise in the number of Indian tourists.
