Turkey Tourism stated, that in the pre-covid times, Turkey recorded 23,800 Indian tourists in June 2019. Surely, the number of travellers has surpassed the pre-covid times.

There are a number of factors which are responsible for seeing an increase in the number of Indian tourists. Firstly, the resumption of frequent flights from India to Turkey by Turkish Airlines as well as IndiGo. Second, issuing visas has become easier. Allowing leisure travel in a city as gorgeous as Turkey is a reason why there has been a significant rise in the number of Indian tourists.
