Twice The Size Of Palm Jumeirah, Palm Jebel Ali To Include 80+ Hotels, Lifestyle Mall & More

Palm Jebel Ali, the artificial archipelago, is officially back on the schedule. On May 31, 2023, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, revealed the Palm Jebel Ali project. It calls for the transformation of the location with hotels, beaches, residential buildings, and recreational areas. Here are additional details regarding the potential appearance of those attractions and services.

Palm Jebel Ali Megaproject Features Hotels, Resorts And More!

Palm Jebel Ali will have roughly 80 hotels and resorts, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum revealed during the announcement of the project’s revival last year. The official website features a family resort, an environmental resort, and a flagship wellness resort. A signature yacht club will be located on the Palm Jebel Ali, directly at the trunk’s entrance.

Other attractions that are reminiscent of the original Palm Jumeirah. It includes shopping and visiting a lifestyle mall, lounging in the park, and soaking up the sun at a strip of beach clubs. Additionally, the the trunk of Palm Jebel Ali will have:

  • a family beach
  • an “iconic tower with 360-degree panoramic views,”
  • a sunset promenade on the beach.

The Project Covers an Area Of Approx. 13.4 Square Metres

A group of “Gateway Towers” seem to be located at Palm Jebel Ali’s peak. Where Atlantis The Palm Hotel is supposed to be situated! At the summit of the new Palm, there will be a “celebration village” next to the Gateway Towers. The new massive project covers an area of about 13.4 square kilometres.

One of the primary distinctions between the original Palm Jumeirah and the new one, which is segmented, seems to be that the crescent’s two ends will be connected to the mainland. Hopefully, more traffic will result from that. A new master plan for Dubai beaches, unveiled by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in May 2023, calls for a 400 per cent expansion of the city’s public beaches. By 2040, the public beaches in the emirate will stretch from 21 km to 105 km in length.
