Twitter Is Sherlocking Hard After A Mysterious Ball Washes Ashore At Japan’s Hamamatsu Beach

A mysterious ball has washed up on the shore of Japan’s Hamamatsu Beach and everyone is perplexed. Nothing is known about where it came from and what it actually is. It has, therefore, gone viral on the Internet. And why wouldn’t it? If there’s anything that the Internet loves, it is speculation and spinning theories about mysterious events and objects. And this incident is a goldmine for that. The Internet was quick to dawn their Sherlock hats and speculate.

Mysterious Ball Washes Ashore At Japan’s Hamamatsu Beach

After a mysterious ball was discovered on the shores of the Hamamatsu beach, the authorities were left scratching their head about its origins and where it came from. It seemed that the giant ball was made of some type of metal. It was 1.5 metres in diameter and had handles attached to it.

Since it could have been dangerous, the authorities had it checked first. It was speculated that the ball might have been a stray mine. However, when the bomb squad made an X-ray of the ball, it turned out that it was completely hollow.

This means that the ball didn’t pose any kind of threat to anybody. The ball was discovered on the 21st of February and a video was posted about it on the Internet which spread like wildfire. It also gave rise to multiple theories about its whereabouts.

Dragon Ball, Godzilla Egg, UFO, Spy Ball, And Whatnot

A number of theories have been thrown by the Internet, some serious and others not so much. One of the theories propounded on the Internet was that it is a spy ball from an enemy country sent to collect information about the country.

Another theory suggested that it might be a spaceship sent from outer space that landed in the ocean and ended up at the beach. One of the theories hilariously suggested that it might even be a Godzilla Egg. Another tweet compared the ball to the fictional Dragon ball from the famous Japanese anime series Dragon Ball Z.

However, some suggestions that were made seemed actually plausible. Someone suggested that it might just be a rusted metallic buoy that is often seen floating in the water. This actually also explains why the ball seems metallic and is hollow.

However, no confirmations about its true nature have been revealed. But still, it seems that the Internet had a fun time speculating about it. The ball has now been removed from the beach.
