At around 5 AM today, two unidentified men on a motorcycle opened fire outside Salman Khan’s residence in Mumbai. The Mumbai Police has confirmed this news and have started investigating with a forensics team to know more about this incident. As per reports, the gunshots hit the first floor of the building, and holes from the firing could be seen on the walls.

In a shocking incident, two men opened fire outside Salman Khan’s home, Galaxy Apartments in Bandra. According to the Mumbai Police, three rounds of firing have been reported in this incident. The local police and the crime branch have started investigating the matter. A forensic team also reached Salman’s home for investigation and found gunshot holes on the outside wall of the first floor of the apartment building. As per reports, it is on the same floor where the actor resides.
The authorities are linking this incident with the threatening email received by the actor last year. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) found Salman Khan to be one of the top targets of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi last year during an investigation.

Police Start Investigation, Security Heightened Around Salman’s Home

Ever since the news of the shooting broke out, security outside Salman Khan’s residence has been heightened. The police are thoroughly sweeping CCTV footage of the nearby areas to identify the miscreants as well. It is also to be noted that ever since the threats last year, Salman was granted Y+ security by the authorities. More details are awaited on this entire incident.
Like many celebrities, Salman Khan’s fans throng the streets outside his Bandra home to get a glimpse of the actor. He is often seen waving from his balcony to acknowledge his fans on special occasions like festivals and his birthday. He was last seen waving at his fans on Thursday during Eid celebrations with his family.
