UAE Malls To Operate Food Courts During Ramadan

During the holy month, you are not allowed to eat and drink in public places. But however, some major malls in the UAE will be operating their food courts during the day as well. 

Which Malls will be open? 

As announced by wam the holy month of Ramadan will begin from Thursday 17 May 2018 as Wednesday will be the last day of Shaaban. So far we know all the major touristy malls such as Dubai Mall, Festival City, Mall of the Emirates, Deira City Centre, Ibn Battuta and Dragon Mart will be operating their food courts from Noon. However, some of the food chains in the food court will operate from morning but for take away orders only.

Things to keep in mind 

Make sure you don’t eat, drink or smoke anywhere else in the mall corridors as its completely prohibited to do so and you might also get fined as well. You can only eat and drink at the designated food court joints and common areas which will be covered with partitions and windows. The covered foodcourts at the mall will also only allow you to dine in from Noon only.
