Hyderabad and Mumbai will soon be able to enjoy Uber Shuttle, the ride-booking app’s bus services. After successful launches in Kolkata and Delhi, Uber has decided to expand the operations of its bus services in more metro cities. This new service will make commuting easier and more convenient for travellers in these cities.

The bus services were first introduced by Uber in Kolkata last year. Then, after several trial runs, they launched the Shuttle services in Delhi-NCR as well in May 2024. For its already existing services in Kolkata and Delhi, Uber allows commuters to pre-book seats on the buses of their preferred route by choosing the Uber Shuttle option on the Uber app.

While not all details about the new launch are out, if the service works on the existing model, then commuters can expect fully air-conditioned buses on all routes. Each bus will accommodate 19-50 passengers and will be operated by local fleet partners leveraging Uber’s technology.
