We all have that one relative who, whenever we visit a hotel, takes all the shampoos, soaps, toothbrushes, and anything else that the hotel might have offered its patrons complimentarily. While doing such a thing is not illegal, it is usually frowned upon by the finer society. However, the following case is an extreme example. A couple from the United Kingdom (UK) ended up stealing everything from the hotel room that they were staying in!
UK Couple Steal Everything From Hotel Room
This particular incident happened in Wales’s Dolphin Hotel located in Pembroke Dock. A couple, who, as per the hotel owner Natalie Newton, seemed extremely friendly, ended up cleaning out the entire room!
They stole appliances like a kettle, an electric fan, a charging tower, luxury towels and lamps as well as tea and coffee containers. The owner, who is 43 years old stated that the only thing suspicious about the couple was that they were without luggage.
She has sought the help of the Dyfed-Powys Police who are looking for the culprits. They have cost the hotel owner a total of £200 in terms of stolen items. There was even CCTV footage which showed the culprits doing multiple rounds and stealing everything. They were completely unfazed by the presence of the camera and even smiled at it while stealing.

Here’s What You Can And Cannot Take From A Hotel Room
When in hotel rooms, there are always certain things that are off-limits. So if you’re in a hotel room and are confused about whether you can take an item, here is a guide. Stuff like shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc., are yours to take.
However, if you have an electrical appliance in your room like a mini-fridge, kettle, etc., you are not allowed to take that. Further, any decor items like light fixtures, photo frames on the wall, etc., are also not supposed to be stolen.
